Flexible Aluminum Ducting Hose for HVAC & Exhaust Ductwork Insulation - 25' Feet Long

This Aluminum Flex Duct is designed for use in heating, cooling, ventilation, and waste gas transmission lines. Suitable for medium pressure applications, it features an outer surface made of High Quality Aluminum Foil and an inner surface constructed of Metalized PET with high-tensile spring steel wire between the layers.

Thermally insulated with Glass-Wool insulation developed specifically for flexible ducting, great emphasis has been placed on the design of this product to prevent kinking in sharp bends and turns, and to maintain steady, full-diameter performance in all applications. All steel wires are applied between the PET surfaces to prevent corrosion (oxidization). This flex duct is produced in accordance with the ISO 9001 - 2008 Quality Management System.

The smooth interior PET surface of this flex duct decreases pressure loss and provides a more hygienic environment. Why R-8.0? Higher R-Values mean greater energy savings on HVAC bills, as the more effective heat trapping prevents your HVAC system from having to work overtime.

In comparison, R-4.2 and R-0 insulation levels are less effective at retaining heat, requiring your HVAC system to work harder and consume more energy. The R-8.0 insulation in this product is designed to deliver significant cost savings.

This high-quality Aluminum Flex Duct features an Aluminum housing on both the exterior and interior, providing the best insulation value. The air-tight inner core decreases pressure loss and creates a more hygienic environment, with no fiberglass erosion into the air stream.

The thick blanket of Fiberglass Insulation provides an R-Value of 8.0, offering superior energy efficiency. The tough, reinforced Metallized Polyester Jacket is tear and puncture resistant, maintaining the air-tight inner core and preventing fiberglass erosion.

Designed to withstand bends and sharp turns without kinking, this Aluminum Flex Duct is certified to UL 181, BS 476 Part 20, BS 476 Part 7 Class 1, and carries Eco-Label, France M1, Italian Class 1, and EN 13501-1 C s1 d0 certifications, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.
